25 Thankful thoughts

Thanksgiving is this Thursday, in the U.S.

I have much to be thankful for again this year.
A warm and dry home to keep the cold and snow off our heads.
We still have a few cents left after the bills are paid each month,
so we are not without food or clothes.

We were blessed with a new grandson I introduced you to in September, he continues to grow and we hope we can get to meet him some time next year. ((fingers crossed!!))

Our two older grandsons are growing and adjusting to going to different  schools this year. Well, as much as a 3 and1/2 and almost 6 year old boys can sit and enjoy school all day! A big change for them.

So for your viewing pleasure (I hope!)
  here our our little grand-turkeys!
(you may click on any picture to enlarge,
please do not copy without written permission)

it is off to the races,
big wheel VS skutt balance bike

snack time on a sunny afternoon

They are so close in size in many ways ( they wear the same size shoe, ect) it is hard to believe that the blonde one, who is tall for his age will be 6 this December! He has the same built his dad did growing up and also wears the slim size pants too! Younger and much more active little brother (as I have mentioned in the past, esp when he broke his big brothers femur!) is more brawny. It is hard to believe he eats enough to continue to grow at this rate! Maybe that should be stated that they have enough food in the house to feed him, haha!!

And now the newest little grand-turkey ...

getting bigger is hard work!

Thank goodness his momma posts a lot on her
computer/phone for us to watch him grow.
It has been hard not getting to see him or hold him yet.
Long distance families seem to be a normal thing these days,
but it still sucks for this grandma!

So I leave you this week with this wish...

I hope you have a wonderful week
and weekend where ever you live!

I would be remiss if I did not say I was thankful for the rest of my family and friends. Friends in life and all you wonderful ones I met online and through my blog including all my delightful readers!

  Until next time ...
Do you have anything special you are thankful for this year?

I just love posts about being thankful. So many folks don't stop and look at all the good things in their lives, and instead focus on only the bad. They sure are missing out on so many blessings.

Happy Thanksgiving Faythe. :)

I am grateful for a great year in my garden and my son's new marriage to his beautiful bride. I hope you get to see your new Grand-child soon! My son lives over 800 miles from me so when they have grand-kids it's going to be a long distance relationship! Take care and Happy Thanksgiving!

Cute Grand turkeys. They grow up so fast too. My daughter got married 2 weeks ago & it seems like only yesterday she was a little toddler now she's 26

Loved the pictures of your grandkids. I am thankful that once again I'll have all the kids and grandkids with me for Thanksgiving, plus some of my siblings and their families. It'll be crazy, but I'm thankful for the crazy.

This is a wonderful posting my friend, and I hope that your Thanksgiving is a truly wonderful day and evening, with lots of thrills and plenty of turkey too :)

Thank you for calling by and for subscribing to my Space my friend It is always very nice to see you there...

As for leaving gifts for peeps…

It is quite easy, all you need is the url (http)and then you can just copy and paste it into your comment. For instance if you went on Photobucket.com and saw a picture that you would like to share, then if you are right handed, click the right hand button on your mouse and when the options appear it is the bottom one (properties) that you click, now when that one opens you will see the url (http)… Just copy that and when you return to the Space where you wish to leave the picture, just paste it and hey presto you have left your gift. Now how cool is that Grammy-Mouse-Tails? :)

I am blessed that all but four of my Grands live within 30 minutes of me. Two are an hour away and two are a 6 hour flight. It is hard being away from and missing so much in their lives. I am making the flight next weekend though, to see one of the Grands in the community production of Annie!! Am so excited. Also am thankful his mommy works for the airlines so I can do it:)
Beautiful babies all three:)
They will always know how much you love them, even if you do not see them on a daily basis. Gramma's are special that way. Papa's too:)

Faythe,
We just returned from our Thanksgiving with family and friends, and I admit I have been off the blog for a while and not visited many of my blogging friends. I LOVE your post on the grandchildren! They are so precious and you are blessed even though they are long distance form you. You are special to me, Faythe. I love how thankful you are!

It is tough to have families at a distance. It's so wonderful that we have the Internet now so we can hear everybody's news in real-time! Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!
