27 Checking in post-op

Hello dear friends and loyal readers!

I am still around and at this time working hard in physical therapy.
My cervical surgery and hospital stay were a tad longer than expected, but not surprisingly (to me) they found some strange events than expected in my spinal column itself. Surgery story to come later...

I am home and was told recovery could take from as little as a year and up to two years, with post-op cervical/neck laminoplasty surgery. So it is one step forward two steps back at this point ( dancing and smiling the whole time ... nope, they did not remove my sarcastic chip, Hahaha)

my physical therapist and I during a session ☺

I am so grateful for all of you that have kept in touch either by constant posts on my old blog posts ( I appreciate that, muahhh) by email contact and by positive thoughts and prayers. I will try to get to each and everyone of you ASAP!, when my neck and hands cooperate long enough for a sit down here at my PC. Those of you that have newsletters sent via email on your own blog, I have been lurking and enjoying your posts. I still feel so out of the friendly loop of our give and take comments. I promise as I get better I will be back to bothering you all, commenting and leaving sassy or silly posts more often here as well.

I am leaving you with some positive
  thoughts for the day ...

Thank you again for being patient with my absence.
I am working hard to be back in playing form soon!

                  until next time...

I didn't figure they could touch that great sense of humor you have. Glad to see that they didn't either. You just get well and don't worry about the www. It will still be here when you're ready to visit folks.

Have a terrific day and get well soon. :)

Take your time and concentrate on getting better. That's the most important thing right now. It's unfortunate that the surgery was more involved than it was supposed to be, but at least the worst of it is over now and you're on the mend, even if it won't be as quick as you'd like.
