feathered colors lost in snow

As another blizzard pounds us in Wisconsin,
I thought I'd share some of the only bright spots of color I see against the dreary snowy landscape.

mourning doves, dark eyed juncos and a lone red male cardinal dig for food in the falling snow

male red cardinal and juncos

puffy red cardinal and a munching junco on green and copper bird feeder

Has there been any colorful (feathered or not)
  sightings in your yard lately?

until next time...

please feel free to leave your colorful comments and link up to your posts!

  1. My daisies are blooming and all the fruit trees are all budded out in beautiful spring colors. It's in the upper 80s in the afternoons. It's wonderful.

Sorry you're being hit with more snow. Enough is enough.

Have a terrific day and stay warm. Big hugs. ☺

  16. We still have snow (VA); though, not as much as you have. We have see cardinals, robins and gold finches. We kitties have a bird/squirrel feeder right outside our screened in deck so we can watch the critters as much as we want if our humans think it is warm enough!
