Just Picked

This week we have had a few sunny days.
Most of the sun was short lived, filled with lots of clouds, dark skies and lots of rain. On a day the sun was out I braved the mosquitoes and went in search of what may be blooming or living in my yard. I found some nice surprises and decided to pick some and now I will share them with you!

Fresh picked just for you ...

photos belong to me, if you would like a copy please ask
purple phlox, red bee balm and orange asiatic lilies

red bee balm surrounded by purple phlox

red bee balm, white daisies (aster) and white loosestrife

and last a fresh picked tasty treat -
  wild black-raspberries!

The berries are in my tummy and the flowers are still showing nicely even though I picked them on Sunday.

Do you have anything growing in your yard this week?

until next time ...

  2. Our winter garden is looking rather sad and sorry. Not enough rain and the soil is far too sandy. I really must look at doing something about it soon.

  15. Hi Girlfriend: How are you doing this bright sunny day? I say that because we have been having nothing, but rain & being as you know so much about gardening I'm told that my vegetable garden is dying because its been over watered, but it wasn't me who did it. MOTHER NATURE DID! :( So far none of my tomatoes have turned red (all green) I have tiny cucumbers and only 3 zucchinis :( Any suggestions my friend??? I LOVE FRESH VEGGIES!!!

  18. Hi, and thank you for sharing at Wordless Wednesday (on Tuesday) at In Him We Live and Move and Have Our Being. I wanted to let you know that I’m transitioning to a new site – http://image-in-ing.blogspot.com – which will have a photography focus. Currently there are two pages. One is where I will host Wordless Wednesday (on Tuesday) each week at midnight on Tuesday, Eastern Standard Time. The second is a place for you to link up your main blog url if you host a weekly Wordless linkup. Eventually I hope to include some photography how-to’s and resources. If you have any suggestions of content you’d be interested in, please email me at image.in.ing at gmail dot com.

Thanks, and I hope to see you there!

    Sue
