Alone...
It was just hubby and I this year at the homestead.
We had no way(or funds) to fly to California to meet our new grandson, we are hoping we get a chance in the new year. Some how things got all discombobulated over certain dates ect and we did not have a place to stay if we took the 6 hour drive to see our oldest son and family. So home alone is what we got. Quiet and boring.
Thank goodness I did get too see some pictures, on both of our boys family FB pages. So at least we had a tiny peek at what they all were up too. Not at all the same as hearing the grandkids laughter and seeing the joy in their eyes, but sometimes you have to take the little that is offered.
This is what I am sharing with you today.

I have heard that the tendency is for 'sons' to withdraw from their side of the family once married. Has anyone else experienced this?
until next time ...
