Winter still has bits of remains here and there,
but already the pollen is flying.
but already the pollen is flying.
At least in my area.
I have already gotten pollen alerts that the trees are starting their dating rituals. I could feel it before the allergy alerts arrived in my email box!
Yup, it is that time. (achoo!)

Are you ready for the sneezing, sniffling, red itchy eyes season?
The good thing that comes with it, is spring weather, buds and blossoms. (yea!)
Also linking up this week with Frozen Moments and A Nut in a Nutshell .
No I'm not ready for all the allergies. Not one bit, but I'm oh so tired of the cold. Sigh!
ReplyDeleteHave a terrific WW. :)
I've seen it on my car...that ugly green dust!!!
ReplyDeleteMy kids are already sneezing out their brains, so I figure we should just jump in head first and get on with the nice weather. Around our house the weather is so back and forth it's driving me insane (it snowed yesterday, rained last night and is supposed to be in the 70s tomorrow)!
ReplyDeleteI was sick for almost two weeks and I rarely get ill. I hate the flu!!!
ReplyDeleteOh yea, tis the season, that pollen stuff is hard on Sister Gracie with her asthma. I hope you have a great week!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat sketch, the season does bring in some miseries too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up. :)
Ugh, imagine scenes at the daycare and kindergarten where kids don't cover their mouths when they sneeze... *shivers*
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh that's perfect! I guess we are in the middle of the two. Flu is slowly giving way to allergy. Cough, cough, sneeze, sneeze!
ReplyDeleteI am dealing with BOTH right now.
ReplyDeleteI hate the North...
:)

Hahaha! Im afraid I have to agree with Maxine on this one. Just waiting for my allergies to kick in any day.
ReplyDeleteyep. sadly, I can already feel it too. aaaaa-choo
ReplyDeleteFall is my worst - I can sail thru spring and summer.
ReplyDeleteI'm not allergic, but allergies must not be much fun, especially after waiting so long for the winter to finally go away. One day they'll hopefully have much better treatments for those that suffer.
ReplyDeletefortunately I don't have seasonal allergies. Unfortunately, I still have asthma.
ReplyDelete20 years ago the poison oak patch was just a couple feet across. It's spread about that much each year and now entwines 40 feet along the fence line. It's red leaf tips are showing and made me think about how much pollen might potentially blow our way :]
ReplyDeletei love maxine!
ReplyDeleteand yep, the pollen is EVERYWHERE
Isn't that the truth? Things are not blooming here yet.....but so soon!
ReplyDeleteOy -- it's been allergy season here for several weeks now. My poor husband is just barely surviving.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately that's true - and sometimes they overlap!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a fab week~

ReplyDeleteNot ready for the allergies but so ready for the flowers!

ReplyDeleteIt's my husband who has to suffer every year at this time. You would think there is a cure for this by now.
ReplyDeleteNeither of us have allergies, or not that I know of. Must be miserable though. :( Hope you have some good meds.
ReplyDeletei don't have any allergies but i've flu from time to time.
ReplyDeleteThat's hilarious and so true! I'm so over the flu and allergies.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I know what you mean! I always have allergy issues. Fun times. :)
ReplyDeleteI must admit, if I had my pick I'd rather have allergies and spring! I'm so over the cold temps!
ReplyDeleteOh, so not ready for the allergies! It has rained here this week though so we got a break!
ReplyDeleteNo, I'm not ready! My son takes claritin year round for allergies while the rest of us just suffer lo. I did get a box of goodies yesterday to review though so we'll see how they do!
ReplyDeleteMaxine forgot about "cold" as that's what I have right now.
ReplyDeleteDon't come to visit us, Darling, because we live in a tropical petrie dish. You'd be one big sneeze all year round. We feel for you!
ReplyDeleteOh yes! I hear ya. Just got our house over the flu... and my DH has allergies setting in. I am ready for a bumpy ride this Spring.
ReplyDeletehahha, I like that.
ReplyDeleteI've had allergy issues already! I dug out the Neti Pot, but felt my sinuses fill back up after 10 min.
ReplyDeleteThe AllegraD is already at work here. Gotta love that Maxine!
ReplyDeleteI'm lucky we never get Hay fever here.. as it's summer all year round in Asia.... hope that the allergies don't bother you too much this year.
ReplyDeleteOh, man. I'm going to look on the bright side you mentioned. :)
ReplyDeleteVisiting from Hobo Mama and Natural Parents Network!
That is sooo true and i get hayfever and am not looking forward to it :-(
ReplyDeleteHappy WW!
That might be why my sinuses are bothering me so much.
ReplyDeleteBring on the Claritin, I am ready for some warmer weather!
ReplyDeleteThankfully I don't have any allergies, and hopefully it will stay that way. I love all the beautiful smells and fragrances that nature provides in spring...
ReplyDeleteI think I'd rather cope with the allergies than the snow and cold. Love Spring sunshine and milder temps. :)
ReplyDeletetoo true...too true...lol
ReplyDeleteI read somewhere this going to be the worst pollen season ever. We already have some here and it is freezing out.
ReplyDeleteI hear ya! Right now we are being slammed with pollen in GA. Our cars are bright yellow every morning. I hate it!
ReplyDeleteSo true! But I'm ready for allergies...
ReplyDeletei hate allergy season!

ReplyDeleteI'll take the pollen if the warm weather will just come with it! LOL
ReplyDelete2 of my 3 boys are already sniffing and itching. It's gonna be a long spring...
ReplyDeleteSo true!
ReplyDeleteI don't have issues with pollen, but my husband sure does! He lives on Zyrtec this time of year.
ReplyDeletewoo hoo! Today is "ME" day! Nothing to do, but whatever I want! hahahaha Well, except do the laundry, making spaghetti today so I have to get the sauce going, make the bed, take a shower, go to Walmart... a crap there went "ME" day! Hugs! meeee
ReplyDeleteAnd of course just as I get done being sick from flu season, my allergies kick in! We've got 3 out of 5 noses running over here :P
ReplyDeleteI have not allergy! I am happy!
ReplyDeleteIt's still too cold for allergies here thank goodness, but I'm ready for the warmer weather!

ReplyDeleteI love Maxine, she is kind of like my snarky altar ego! ;)
ReplyDeleteMaxine ~ You go Girl!! We are wating for the icky sticky yellow/green pollen to start ~ it's so gross!! Friends in FL said theirs was way less this year ~ so we are HOPING!!!!! that as the process moves up the coast to Virginia, the same will happen here! :)

ReplyDeleteIt's Friday yet I'm still saying Happy WW!
ReplyDeleteIt's Friday yet I'm still saying Happy WW!
ReplyDeletehilarious but sadly very true.
ReplyDeletei always had horrible pollen, dust, mold allergies but after moving to thailand (from the US) a few years ago, i haven't ***knock on wood*** really had anymore allergy problems. a friend of mine studying medicine in the states told me that most countries either have allergy issues or parasite issues. certain climates are just... more prone to have one or the other. unfortunately, thailand is a parasite climate rather than an allergy climate. i think i'd rather have the allergies...
I hate hayfever but I have a good long break before it all comes around again...
