Happy Thanksgiving!!

  Thanksgiving wishes from the
wild turkeys and I!

We are so happy to be visiting you and not resting
on a big plate on your table!

I thought this quote appropriate, especially since we just
honored the 50 anniversary of John F. Kennedy's death

This Thanksgiving Day, let's remember what we truly have to be thankful for. Let's take a good, hard look around us and realize that while we may not have everything we want, what we want is not always what we need.

- Unknown

Wishing all my friends, family and readers a blessed and wonderful Thanksgiving. I so appreciate all your support, readership and your comments.

    Until next time ...

What is Perspective?

Do you see a bottle half full, half empty or empty??

Perspective -

Definition :

perspective (plural perspectives)
  1. A view, vista or outlook (as in mental attitude)

  2. The appearance of depth in objects, especially as perceived using binocular vision.
  3. The technique of representing three-dimensional objects on a two-dimensional surface.
  4. (figuratively) The choice of a single angle or point of view from which to sense, categorize, measure or codify experience.
 Or definition in images :
a few of my favorites, found around the internet ...

to view larger just click on any image

no wonder I am not a morning person!

Einstein seemed to have an answer for almost everything

all image credits (if any) found on the images

Some intelligent and a few humorous views
on what is perspective.
What is your definition??
Or is one of the above a new favorite for you?

I look forward to your comments,
 as always.
Please feel free to link up to a post
of yours to share with me

Autumns Blazing color

   Autumn is still officially here,
but yesterday we saw our first snowfall of the season... Booo!
Since I was so depressed over the pretty falling flakes that stuck to the ground,
I sure did not feel like snapping any photos.
I decided to share some earlier blazing glory (and subsequent messes) of autumn.

some of the first of falls colors (maple trees)
please feel free to click on any photos to enlarge
but please ask if you would like to share or have a better copy, thank you

one of the many ugly dark stormy skies we have had this autumn
it does make the colorful leaves stand out, though

my infamous 'spooky tree' ( to read the story behind the spooky tree just click on the words) covered an many colors of wild grapevine (red), hops (just turning from green to yellow and brown, clematis (almost dried up)
and still very green trumpet vine,
all in front of large golden maples

the nasty brown mess of the many trees, mostly maple leaves, littering the ground behind (in the heavy trees where we tend to blow them if the wind doesn't do the job for us) some very hungry gold finches now in their drab winter colors

the start of yucky brown leaves and pine needles covering our steep driveway waiting for someone to clean them up. any takers??

This concludes this weeks autumn blaze and fall to a dying dried mess before being covered in snow, thus making clean up even messier, sighhhh.

Have you had any snow flakes or fallen
stuck to a mess yet this season?

Please link up any post you
wish to share.
Please feel free to share this post by email, facebook,
google+, ect by using some of the links below.
I appreciate any comments you wish to leave.

Critter Capers

This week I though I would share some cute critters,
doing what critters do best.
Sometimes they act like humans!

Zoey says for the right amount of kitty treats she can fix anything!
But to me she seems to be sleeping on the job?
( you should be able to click on any image to see it bigger)

Even goats need a break from the kids once in awhile!
Just like humans!
(please ask if you would like a copy of my photos)

Liberty goes critter-crazy over any kind of toy, even peanuts!

Liberty must of tired herself out, she needs an energy boost.
Anyone have a mountain dew handy?

I think albino deer are so pretty any time of year.
It is open bow and arrow hunting season here, but
albino deer are protected in the state of Wisconsin from any hunting.
(found this image/caption on facebook and had to share)

Hope there is a smile on your face after visiting
with these crazy critters and their capers.

I would love to read your comments,
and don't forget to link up your posts to share, too!
